The following is a list of available laboratories:
  • Anatomy Labs
  • Models (Moulage)
  • Dissection Room
  • Fixation Room
  • Embryology
  • Histology and Pathology
  • Animal Dissection Room
  • Biochemistry Lab
  • Immunology and Virology Lab
  • Microbiology
  • Bacteriology
  • Mycology
  • Parasitology
  • Entomology
  • Physiology and Pharmacology Lab

Moulage Hall
Moulage hall is considered as an important part of anatomy practical training, and students learn about natural bones and moulages of different parts of the body here. Some of the equipment stationed here are:
  • Natural and artificial skeletons
  • Head and neck moulages
  • Body parts moulages
  • Moulages of organs
  • Cross-sectional moulages of the brain

Dissection Room
Anatomy is thought of as one of the most important courses in basic sciences. Here, students practically engage in learning about parts of the body, head and neck, and upper organs of the body on cadaver. Some of the equipment found here are:
  • Refrigerator
  • Tools equipment for fixing cadaver
  • Cadaver preservation pool
  • Cadaver dissection tables
  • Dissection instruments

Embryology Lab
The purpose of this lab is to familiarize students with animal laboratory fertilization, and it is also used in carrying out embryology research projects. Some of the equipment in this lab are:
  • CO2 incubator
  • Safety hood
  • -20 refrigerator
  • Invert and stereo microscopes
  • Animal operation room
  • Surgery instruments

Histology Lab
This lab is used for practical training in histology and pathology. Some of the equipment placed here are:
  • optical microscopes
  • data projector set

Biochemistry lab

Biochemistry is the study of chemical compounds in living organisms and deals with the structures and functions of cellular components such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and other biological molecules. Students test and identify the cellular components of the human body in this laboratory.

Some laboratory equipment are:

  • Flame photometer
  • Spectrophotometer
  • Ph meter and, ….

Immunology and virology lab

Immunology is a branch of biology that studies the immune response of organisms to foreign agents. In practical seroimmunology, antigen and antibody reactions are used for diagnosis , prognosis, and monitoring disease progression. In this lab the students in groups of two, perform a variety of tests such as agglutination, haemagglutination, flocculation and, …

Some laboratory equipment are:

  • Elisa reader
  • Incubator
  • Oven
  • Centrifuge and, ….

Microbiology lab

Microbiology is the science that deals with the study of microorganisms, wich have similar specifications with some plants, animals or between this two series. This science explains about the structure and metabolism of all living microorganisms. Some of these organisms are involved in human, animal and plant disease as well as the fermentation of organic materials. In this lab students will be familiar with the form and structure of a variety of bacteria, fungi, parasites, and also learn the ways to detect microscopic organisms.

Some of the equipment in this lab are:

  • Fluorescent microscope
  • Incubator
  • Ph meter and, …

Histotechniques
Research and educational histology lams are provided here. These include:
  • tissue processor
  • microtome
  • Incubator
  • Safety hood

Physiology and Pharmacology lab

Physiology is the study of vital organisms. All of the research and investigations in this lab occur on the living organisms. Students learn about the equipment used to perform a variety of experiments related to vital functions of living organisms, organs and cells.

Some of the equipment in this lab are:

  • Spirometer
  • Electrocardiograph
  • Tail flick
  • Micro centrifuge and, …
